Who we are

CosmosPM is an independent, founder-led planning, scheduling and project controls consultancy based in the UK.

Our aim is simple: make the problem visible, so that someone can own it and solve it. We remove the noise between the problem and the person who can fix it.

And if clear ownership is not there yet, we help you build it. We break the process into parts, record and document it, and define who owns each part. If you do not have the people for that, we do it for you.

The same discipline is how we prepare teams for the era of AI: we help put methods and records in order, and build the skills to check what AI tools produce.

The same data, kept in different tables by teams working in isolation, is the enemy of AI. Not because AI cannot find a pattern, but because it will invent one for you, ignoring why each dataset was built the way it was.

We are small by design. CosmosPM is led by its founder, Evangelos Kourentzis, and you deal directly with the people doing the work.

    Where a job needs your schedule, you keep the original. We delete our working copy when the work is done. Any backup copy is removed within 90 days. What LogicReader does with a schedule is set out at logicreader.io/trust.

  • We ask for feedback, and we answer it

    Every job ends with the same questions: what worked, what did not, what would you change? Your feedback comes back to you as an improvement, not as silence.

Make the problem visible. Then give it an owner.

Most project problems are not hidden because they are hard to find. They are hidden because nobody is asked to look. The delay sits in a logic link nobody reads. The risk sits in a spreadsheet only one person opens.

There is a people side too. When people work alone on a problem, the same work gets done twice, and nobody sees the effort. Solutions come from team players who give discretionary effort and go above and beyond their normal role to help. The systems we design must be empathetic, and must complement this behaviour. Help people to collaborate, and the duplication falls. But it takes enough recognition for people to let go. Much of the resistance is "this is my baby", or "someone else will take the credit for my work". Recognise the work, and it becomes easier to let it go.

So the first job is to make the problem visible: put it where the whole team can see it, in plain terms, without blame.

But seeing a problem does not solve it. A problem that everyone can see and nobody owns is still a problem. That is why we start with the process in mind:

  • Show it. Make the problem visible to the people who can act on it.
  • Own it. Agree who owns each part of the process, and write it down.
  • Fix it. The owner decides and acts.
  • Ask. Build feedback into the process itself: what worked, what did not, what should change?
  • Improve. Use the answers, and go round again.

The feedback step is the one most teams leave out, and it is the one that makes the others last. When feedback is part of the process, improvement no longer depends on one good person having a good day.

Seeing the problem is where it starts. Owning it, and learning from it every time, is how it stays solved.

Same principles, every project

The planning mistakes we see are the same in every sector, and so are the principles that fix them.

Too many projects reinvent the wheel instead of following good practice. We bring the same proven principles to every project, whatever its size.

They are not only scheduling principles. They come from quality management and from Deming's cycle: plan, do, check, act. Planning is a process in itself, so we take a holistic view: what affects the plan, and what the plan affects in turn.
